Task¶

Tasks are automated action items for staff. They are created and destroyed based on the status of certain entities in school LMS. Tasks are part of staff dashboard and provide actionable insights into the task. When a necessary action is performed, they are automatically destroyed by the system. Tasks are way to nudge/remind the staff to perform their side of actions to make a progress on the status workflow of certain entities.

Tasks are available for student report, classroom report, iep and casestudy entities. These entities are referred as taskable.

Entity Attributes¶

Following attributes define a category.

type

type of the task.

taskable_status

Status of the taskable entity when the task is created.

Entity Relationships¶

staff

Staff for whom the task is created and needs to perform the necessary action.

taskable

Tasksable entity on which the staff needs to perform the requisite action.
