Goal¶
Goal is a grouping of related subgoals. After subgoal, the next unit of learning for a student is goal. Assessment of a domain for a student is generally measured based on the goal assessments.
Although goals are grouped into a category, their numbering is at domain level. Further a goal may override an assessment criterion defined at domain level.
Entity Attributes¶
Following attributes define a goal.
title-
title of the goal.
description-
detailed description about the goal.
position-
position of the goal within domain. It's an integer value. Usually this field is used for ordering the goals when displayed in the ui.
Entity Relationships¶
category-
A goal belongs to a category exclusively.
subgoals-
A goal has multiple related subgoals. These subgoals exclusively belong to only this goal and they are not shared with other goals. This is one-to-many relation.
